The heritage-listed Prince Henry Hospital ‘Flowers Wards’, built between 1914 and 1918, was sensitively converted into 40 modern, stylish apartments.

These historic buildings are graded as of ‘exceptional’ significance by the Heritage Council NSW. With experience on similar projects, we worked closely with an accredited heritage architect to ensure all design and construction met the strict building guidelines.

The heritage retention and refurbishment works undertaken by our skilled team included timber windows and doors, plaster lath ceilings, internal painted and rendered brick walls, and external face brickwork.

Among the new work that helped transform each building into 10 single level apartments, we created internal partitioning (including acoustic and fire-rated tenancy dividing walls), new services, fixtures and finishes, and the construction of basement storage areas.
